Bundle

Struct Bundle

pub struct Bundle { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

EXPERIMENTAL: A set of changes compressed into a bundle

Bundles are produced by Automerge::bundle and contain a set of compressed changes which is not necessarily the whole document. A bundle can be loaded using Automerge::load_incremental but can also be loaded using TryFrom<&[u8]> in order to examine the contents of the bundle.

This feature is experimental, the file format for bundles may still change so do not use this feature in systems where you expect data to stick around

Implementations§

§

impl Bundle

pub fn actors(&self) -> &[ActorId]

pub fn authors(&self) -> &[Vec<u8>]

pub fn iter_changes(&self) -> BundleChangeIter<'_> ⓘ

pub fn to_changes(&self) -> Result<Vec<Change>, AutomergeError>

pub fn bytes(&self) -> &[u8] ⓘ

On-disk form of the bundle, with per-column DEFLATE applied where each column is large enough to benefit. Falls back to the uncompressed buffer for bundles whose construction predates the per-column compression pass (or that were parsed from input with no compressed columns).

pub fn deps(&self) -> &[ChangeHash]

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.

§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
