A durable chronological boundary supplied by the collection owner.

position is normalised across the logical collection (0.0 first, 1.0 last), not the currently materialised slice. This is important for virtual lists: jumping to March must work even when March has not been decoded or mounted yet.

Fields

id: String

Stable collection-owned id. It is used in AT action targets, so do not derive it from a visible/localised label.

label: String

Localised, concise text such as “Mar 2026” or “2023”.

position: f64

Normalised position, clamped defensively before use.

kind: DateIndexMarkerKind

Year boundaries survive projection before ordinary month boundaries.
