Struct TerminalPalette
pub struct TerminalPalette {
pub fg_default: AlphaColor<Srgb>,
pub bg_default: AlphaColor<Srgb>,
pub ansi: [AlphaColor<Srgb>; 16],
}Expand description
Palette used by terminal-style widgets. Exposes default fg/bg and a 16-slot ANSI base palette. Higher-index colors (256/truecolor) are out of scope — consumers still derive those from the 16 anchors or from their own mapping.
Fields§
§fg_default: AlphaColor<Srgb>§bg_default: AlphaColor<Srgb>§ansi: [AlphaColor<Srgb>; 16]ANSI 0..=15 (standard 8 + bright 8).
Implementations§
§impl TerminalPalette
impl TerminalPalette
pub fn from_colors(c: &Colors) -> TerminalPalette
pub fn from_colors(c: &Colors) -> TerminalPalette
The terminal must not carry its own colour scheme — customisation
belongs at the shell/theme level, so fg/bg and the ANSI ramp are
read from the active Colors, tracking whatever theme the OS
applies. fg_default/bg_default come straight from the theme’s
primary text and ground; the neutral ANSI anchors blend
ground→foreground so both ends stay legible in light or dark.
pub fn dark() -> TerminalPalette
pub fn light() -> TerminalPalette
