Enum ReadingFace
pub enum ReadingFace {
Default,
Libertinus,
Literata,
Garamond,
SourceSerif,
}Expand description
A reading face the system ships, chosen by name in a theme’s type role or by a reader in an app that sets long-form text (Books). Each is set through the Reading role’s family, so its optical sizes, features and script fallbacks work like the default’s.
| Face | Optical sizes |
|---|---|
Default, New Computer Modern | 8 pt cut for small text, Book for body text, Regular for titles |
Libertinus, Libertinus Serif | text cut, Display cut for large upright text |
Literata | opsz axis |
Garamond, EB Garamond | one design |
SourceSerif, Source Serif 4 | opsz axis |
Variants§
Default
New Computer Modern, Computer Modern as TeX sets it.
Libertinus
Literata
Garamond
SourceSerif
Implementations§
§impl ReadingFace
impl ReadingFace
pub const ALL: [ReadingFace; 5]
pub const fn family(self) -> &'static str
pub const fn family(self) -> &'static str
The font family the face is set in. Pass it as the family of a Reading style; the toolkit picks the face’s optical cut per size.
pub fn from_name(name: &str) -> Option<ReadingFace>
pub fn from_name(name: &str) -> Option<ReadingFace>
The face a theme document or a reader’s setting names: by face name,
family name, or Default.
