Variants

OsKeychain

The operating system’s keychain holds them, unlocked with the user’s session.

BrowserWrapped

Encrypted under a key the browser will not export; see the crate docs.

LocalFile

Sealed in owner-only files under a key file beside them: as private as the machine’s disk and the Unix account that owns them.

Memory

In this process only; gone when it exits.
