Tell the host that what a widget presents to the resource surface (the resources, actions or semantic controls it declares) changed on input it did not mark handled and without a document edit: hovering a menu row that opens a nested menu. The host keeps the published resource tree across bare pointer motion, so such a widget must call this or the tree agents and assistive technology read would go stale. Clicks, keys and handled events outside the explicit view-only scroll contract republish.
