Module activity_timeline

Expand description

ActivityTimeline — the history pane, grouped.

Renders history as scrolling groups (crate::widget::history_group) that expand to individual HistoryEntry rows, because typing coalesces on a one-second debounce and an afternoon of work would otherwise be hundreds of rows reading +3 -0 chars. A group of one unnamed change renders as a plain row, so the flat list is the degenerate case rather than a second code path.

Naming is retroactive (click [Name], or shift-click a run to name it). The widget has no document, so naming only fires NameGroupCallback; the host persists it through tilo_ui::history_source::groups.

The filter chip strip’s grouping is computed over the unfiltered history, so toggling a chip narrows the list without re-chunking it under the reader.

Structs§

ActivityTimeline
Scrolling, filterable, groupable activity pane. See module-level docs.
BandUndoRequest
What [Undo] on a band asks for: the range, not a single id like [Restore] sends. Restore means “put the document back to this moment, discarding everything after”; undo means “take this band out, leave the rest alone” — a host cannot tell the two apart from one id.

Enums§

ChipKind
Ordered left-to-right so a flat [i] lookup matches the visual.

Constants§

FILTER_STRIP_HEIGHT
GROUP_ROW_HEIGHT
ROW_HEIGHT
40px: a 600px pane fits ~15 rows without scrolling.
SELECTION_BAR_H

Type Aliases§

ClearFiltersCallback
Fired on [Clear filters], after the widget resets its own chip/query — the host should drop any filter it owns itself (e.g. a date range).
EntryActivateCallback
Fired when a change row is activated with Enter, Space, or assistive technology. The timeline owns selection; the host can use this to open a detail view, move a scrubber, or otherwise inspect the selected moment.
NameGroupCallback
Callback fired when the user commits a name.
RevertCallback
Fired on [Revert], or on a group’s [Restore] (passing the group’s last change — restoring to a boundary is the point of grouping).
UndoBandCallback
Fired on [Undo]. Installing it is what makes the chip appear at all.
