Enum TextScaling
pub enum TextScaling {
Renderer,
Resolved,
Content,
}Expand description
What a TextStyle’s size (and pixel letter spacing) is measured in.
Text must be scaled exactly once. A theme role is already resolved; a renderer-relative base size is scaled by the renderer; a document’s own type is never scaled by an accessibility preference at all.
Variants§
Renderer
A 1× base size. The renderer multiplies it by its accessibility text
scale. TextStyle::new and the size-based renderer APIs use this.
Resolved
A final logical size that already includes the theme’s UI and text
scale: every crate::theme::Theme::text role. Painted as given.
Content
A document-space size that belongs to the content, not the chrome: a zoomed canvas, a PDF stamp, a terminal grid. Painted as given and never grown by the text scale; the content’s own zoom scales it.
