Struct SearchPage
pub struct SearchPage {
pub results: Vec<SearchResult>,
pub next: Option<SearchCursor>,
pub inspected: usize,
pub pending: Option<PendingToken>,
}Expand description
One bounded page of a provider’s answer.
Fields§
§results: Vec<SearchResult>§next: Option<SearchCursor>Pass this back to search_page to continue. None means exhausted.
inspected: usizeHits materialised for this page.
pending: Option<PendingToken>More results for this query are on their way from a slow source (a
mail server, a video service, a catalogue): the palette keeps a
loading row and asks SearchProvider::poll_page with this token
until they arrive, then appends them to the same list.
Implementations§
§impl SearchPage
impl SearchPage
pub const fn empty() -> SearchPage
pub const fn empty() -> SearchPage
A page with no results and no continuation.
pub fn of(results: Vec<SearchResult>, next: Option<SearchCursor>) -> SearchPage
pub fn of(results: Vec<SearchResult>, next: Option<SearchCursor>) -> SearchPage
A finished page: these results, continuing at next.
pub fn pending(results: Vec<SearchResult>, token: PendingToken) -> SearchPage
pub fn pending(results: Vec<SearchResult>, token: PendingToken) -> SearchPage
A page whose results are still coming: show results now and poll
token for the rest.
