Current authenticated host’s shared local vocabulary. No filesystem or app-local fallback; missing/revoked channels clear personal hints.

Snapshot

A current, bounded set of hints. Consumers retain user-entered text; they use these spellings only for visible suggestions or recognition biasing.

Word

An explicit user addition. Display spelling is retained, including casing. None means all languages; a tag such as fr restricts the hint to that language and its regional variants. Additions never mean replacement rules.

An explicit edit. Replace/remove name the old entry; optimistic revisions keep a stale settings screen from deleting or overwriting newer additions.

Small read/biasing interface for OSK, spellcheck and on-device dictation. Read before each input operation; an error must clear cached personal hints.

Functions

Submit an explicit user edit through the app’s existing settings capability. The host validates current identity, app authority and revision again.

reader

Reader for input consumers of the current authenticated app channel. Account replacement revokes this reader; create another for the new identity.
